About Timber Mountain Woodcraft

andy Buchika, Owner

For over 25 years, the skilled team at Timber Mountain Woodcraft has expertly crafted the finest in high-quality custom carpentry and building projects including timber framed homes, renovations, additions, and custom cabinetry and furnishings. You can see examples of these kinds of projects and more on our Portfolio page.

Timber Mountain's founder and owner, Andy Buchika, has been around the construction and building industry all his life. After earning a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of New Hampshire, Andy became a Master Carpenter, apprenticing under master timber framers and master carpenters. With past projects located around the United States, in 2019 Andy moved Timber Mountain's operation to Ludlow, Vermont, returning to his roots in Southern Vermont.

Our Approach

Andy and his team are dedicated to delivering the best service and end results but they know that all too often, customers feel forced by their service providers to settle for lack of options in their homes, cabinetry, and furnishings. That also means they settle for something that's not quite what they'd wanted. Or they find it didn't turn out as beautifully as they'd hoped, or that it doesn't hold up as promised.

What's even worse is that along the way, they're also forced to settle for service that's underwhelming at best and maddeningly poor at worst.

But with Timber Mountain Woodcraft, you don't have to settle. We're committed to providing you with finished products that are beautiful, functional, and durable and a service experience that's stress-free from start to finish.

We listen carefully to your preferences and needs.

We provide you and your project with individualized attention and care.

We approach you only with honest communication, professionalism, and respect.

If that sounds like what you want in builders and carpenters for your new home or renovation project, your custom cabinetry project, or your custom furnishings project, connect with us by filling out the form on our contact page and we'll set up a time to talk you through how it all works. Even if you're just beginning to think about your project and don't know where to begin, we'll help you assess what you want and need and help you determine how to proceed.

We can't wait to hear from you!
